So I start off alone
I get it now
You’ve been walking over me
I get it now
I should get my stuff and let this go
Guess I, I’m going home
Are my feet still moving? ‘
Cause I don’t know
Have I gone forward?
Or am I stuck?
Can’t let it
Go fuck me I’m numb
Can’t take it no more
Guess I’ve tried my hardest and more
You once told me I am beautiful
No lie
Not just outside but on the inside too
So why
Are you gone now after all this time
Well ‘cause you’re tired
Of the things I hide
Now I’ve closed some doors
Seen a lot of floors
Some were filthy, some were oh so fine
The fulfillment is now something i miss
Can’t let it
Go fuck me I’m numb
Can’t take it no more
You once told me I am beautiful
No lie
Not just outside but on the inside too
So why
Are you gone now after all this time
Well ‘cause you’re tired
Of the same sight
You once told me I am beautiful
No lie
Not just outside but on the inside too
So why
Are you gone now after one last try
Well ‘cause you’re tired
Of the same sight
Well I am too

A truly stunning album that mentally transports you to foggy early morning streets, the pavement wet from recent rains. Dreary, but in a comforting way. Like sitting next to a window during a rainstorm, listening to the drops hit the glass while remaining warm. Never fails to make me feel safe. Crow Yo

I think it's difficult to write songs about something other than romantic love, and still be able to communicate the intensity with which those feelings can hit a person. Some of the entries on this album are fantastic examples of this niche. dani_bloop
